About Our Surgeon

Dr. Paracha is a General Surgeon with his office located in E. Setauket, New York. He performs surgery at several hospitals in Suffolk County.

He received his medical education at the Universidad Autónoma de Centro América, Costa Rica. He was a Chief Resident at Sound Shore Medical Center of Westchester and completed a Fellowship program in Minimally Invasive Surgery at the renowned Montefiore Medical Center, in the Bronx, New York.

Dr. Paracha is a caring physician, and the well-being of his patients is his top priority. His goal is to restore health and get his patients on the road to recovery quickly. With a calming bedside manner, all questions are welcome and are thoroughly discussed until the patient understands and feels comfortable with their diagnosis and plan of care.

His areas of expertise are minimally invasive surgery including da Vinci Robotic Surgery, as well as open and complex abdominal surgery and complex wound care.
